Caretaker Services

A caretaker service consists of:

  • Keyholding Service
  • Checking that the property is clean and tidy
  • Opening windows to air property
  • Ensuring all utility services (electric/gas/water/phone) are available and working
  • Looking for evidence of water leaks and any internal dampness
  • Flushing toilets and running water in sinks, baths etc to avoid smells and prevent ball valves sticking
  • Checking the operation of security equipment
  • Inspecting all external doors and windows for any signs of attempted unauthorised entrance
  • Caring for any internal flower plants
  • Checking appliances and replacing any light bulbs
  • Collecting any mail to forward on
  • Hosing down of patios and terraces
  • Checking that the work of garden/pool maintenance persons is being carried out

Unless otherwise instructed all emergency repairs to be carried out immediately by our maintenance team and you the owner to be informed of the extent of any problems by telephone, email or fax. As required weekly or monthly reports to be forwarded by email, fax, or post to owner. Any matters of significance highlighted during the caretaking inspections to be reported with our recommendations and quotation pricing for any remedial works.
